How to Create a Brand

As a graphic designer, brand design is the key to creating a cohesive Identity.  There's always a color palette, font, and logo identity, but how does one get there?

These are the ideas we as designers have to focus on and create custom for each brand. It's not as simple as choosing what colors the brand enjoys, you have to find colors that complement each other and can create contrast. There are many holes you can fall into color wise for example: yellow on white, red on black, classic holiday colors.

 

There are also font ideas to keep in mind sans serifs and or the classic times new roman. Thought is behind every decision in design from a simple color choice to a font style.
